College Football: Early Signing and Looking Ahead to 2020

The 2020 recruiting cycle is heating up as college football programs around the country are rounding out their recruiting classes ahead of the Early Signing Period, which gets underway on Wednesday and concludes on Friday. With that in mind, we’ve decided to check in on the nation’s top recruiting classes heading into the Early Signing Period, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings. The SEC currently leads all conferences with eight of top 20 recruiting classes in the country, followed by the ACC and Big Ten with four each, while the Big 12 and Pac-12 each have two teams on the list. It should be noted that verbal commitments are non-binding, but players will have the opportunity to make it official from Wednesday through Friday.
