Pujols’ 660th HR ties Mays for 5th all time

Angels first baseman Albert Pujols added another chapter to his legendary career with home run No. 660 on Sunday to tie Willie Mays for fifth place on the all-time list.
The homer, Pujols’ fourth of the season, came off Rockies reliever Carlos Estevez in the eighth inning in Denver.

Angels first baseman Albert Pujols added another chapter to his legendary career with home run No. 660 on Sunday to tie Willie Mays for fifth place on the all-time list.

The homer, Pujols’ fourth of the season, came off Rockies reliever Carlos Estevez in the eighth inning in Denver.

Pujols now trails only Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714) and Alex Rodriguez (696) on the all-time homers list.

On Aug. 24, Pujols passed Rodriguez on the all-time RBI list.
